Warm Aloha,
Ray, Neil and Gregg - the mauiwindcam.com team
We operate 3 cameras, all on the beautiful North Shore of Maui, Hawaii to bring you the best views of some of the most famous windsurfing, surfing and standup paddling locations in the world.
Kanaha : The newest of our cameras looking at the Lowers break at Kanaha. During the windy summer months, check out the Maui Race Series. In the winter wave season, catch the action on the Lowers break itself.
This high definition cam offers still images updating every 5 seconds and full streaming video!
Camp One : Our original cam, looking out at the inner Camp One area. You'll see many a pro windsurfer here, in particular during Spring when most of the brands host their photoshoots right in front of our cam! You'll also see plenty of Sevin enjoying a day at the beach and Henry chilling!
This cam offers still images updating every 5 seconds. There's also an option to turn up the refresh rate to show a new image every second.
West Maui : Looking out towards the West Maui mountains, this cam has captured many a beautiful sunset.
This cam offers still images updating every 5 seconds.
We get a lot of viewers outside of the Maui timezone and we don't want you to miss out... so as soon as it gets dark on Maui, we replay the days action in full! You can choose the time period you want to watch as well. The replay is only available for the still images - we don't save the streaming video from our Kanaha cam.
As well as replaying the full day as soon as it gets dark on Maui, we also build a series of timelapse movies each day so you can watch yesterday's action in under a minute - one movie for each of our cams.
You'll find the most recent timelapse movies on the right sidebar in the Yesterday's Action block. Go into the movies area and you can watch timelapse movies from the last 60 days.
On any of the daily timelapse movies, you also have the option to save any cool shots into our gallery (more on that later). Just select the timestamp, give a brief comment and save a shot for posterity.
In the movies area, you can also watch monthly timelapse movies. If you're planning a trip to Maui, this is a great way to see what weather conditions you can expect in a particular month!
We've been saving some of our favourite images captured by our cams since we started in 2001. Browse through the archives and see what you've missed!
The gallery is open to our viewers to add new images from the daily timelapse movies (see above).
Weather forecasts, wind charts, tide charts and wave data from the buoys around the Hawaiian islands - it's all here in our weather area.
