Maui Race Series – Live in HD!

On Saturday 20th June Mauiwindcam.com’s third camera, the HD cam will capture the LIVE action and excitement of the 25th edition of the Maui Race Series DaKine Classic at Kanaha Beach Park.
These slalom races feature many local, PWA professionals and leading amateur racers in some of the closest fought slalom action around. Who to look out for! See if you can spot these forerunner’s sail numbers as they battle for the win!

Mauiwindcam gets you closer to the spills and thrills than any other medium. The forecast is calling for winds of 18-24 mph, and Kanaha’s conditions are pretty consistent side-shore tradewinds. So tune in on Saturday 20th June at 11.00am Hawaii time and enjoy the races at one of the best Slalom locations in the world. Spring has sprung and the boys are back!
March 25th, 2009Ah, Spring.
At last the cold weather and grey clouds have departed the island and the sun is back.
And as if on cue the wind has kicked in as the men and women of the PWA settle in for their annual pre season training and the photo shoots.
This next couple of weeks we’ll be swinging the cams around a bit to capture as much of the action as possible.
Sometimes it might look like it’s all gone Pete Tong but hang in there and you’ll get to see some of the best sailors in the world doing their things on your favorite beach.
This last few days have seen some of the top racers on the planet practicing and tuning their gear for the up coming season. A season which is stacking up to be one of the best ever. Sailors include, Finian Maynard, Antoine Albeau, Jimmy Diaz and Kevin Pritchard. Wow!
So keep watching and we’ll keep you updated on all the action.

Photo shoot time
March 29th, 2008Over the next few weeks all of the major manufacturers will be bringing their latest equipment to Maui for the annual photo shoots. Windsurfing’s biggest and brightest stars are already arriving here and over the next few weeks you should be able to spot most of them on our webcams.
We’ll be moving the cams around to capture all of the action so make sure you visit every day to see what we have seen! Don’t forget to catch up on the days activities in our Movies section and add your favorite shots to the gallery. Should be lots of fun!
